During the current declaration of a moderate water shortage, the following water waste prohibitions apply to City of Napa water customers. Some exceptions apply. See Napa Municipal Code Section 13.10.

Do Not irrigate lawns on prohibited days of the week.
Even-numbered addresses may water on Mondays and Thursdays only.
Odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays and Fridays only.
Do Not irrigate between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm.
Do Not irrigate during rain or within 48 hours after measurable rainfall.
Do Not overwater lawns and gardens to the point of excessive flowing runoff.
Do Not use drinking water to wash driveways and sidewalks.
Do Not wash a motor vehicle by hose unless it is equipped with a shutoff nozzle.
Do Not operate a fountain or decorative water feature unless the water is recirculated.
Do Not drain and refill a swimming pool unless needed for repair purposes.
Under State Law:
Do Not water non-functional, ornamental lawns at commercial, industrial, or institutional sites.
