Youth Sports

The City of Napa Parks and Recreation Department believes that every child should have the opportunity to participate in youth sports in a positive, safe and fun environment. We rely on both paid staff and volunteers to make our programs run successfully.

Our staff and volunteers complete thorough application and approval process requiring everyone to be fingerprinted and background checked before starting any programs. Our volunteers are trained to teach sports fundamentals, sportsmanship, effective coaching techniques, handling difficult situations, and balancing competition with recreation.
