The general public is permitted to enjoy the sports of boating and fishing at Lake Hennessey, the City of Napa’s largest local reservoir.
Lake Hennessey Boat Dock is OPEN. Facilities are subject to closure if social distancing violations are observed during the COVID-19 Emergency. Moore Creek Park on the north side of the lake is also open.

Please note that bodily contact with water is not permitted:
Fishing permit fee of $1 per day or $5 per year must be paid for persons 16 years or older. Daily fee must be submitted in the drop box at the boat launch. Yearly permit (calendar year) may be purchased, cash or check preferred, by mailing completed Lake Hennessey Boating and Fishing Permit Application (PDF) to:

In-person yearly permit sales at 1700 Second Street may resume once COVID-19 emergency is lifted.
