Napa Fire Explorers Post 220

About Our Post

The City of Napa Fire Department, in conjunction with NCFA 3124, is honored to host Fire Explorer Post 220. The Explorer Post is a division of the Boy Scouts of America. The Post is made up of youth (boys and girls) aged 14-21 who generally have an interest in the fire service. We meet twice a month for regular drills and do more involved/in-depth quarterly drills on Saturdays each year. In 2017 we brought on 6 new explorers. With money generated from our fundraisers we were able to send two Advisors (full time Firefighters) and 4 Explorers to the annual CFEA academy for a week to learn firefighting skills including live fire training. Along with firefighting education, we teach our kids to value our community with outreach activities. We've spent time with the elderly in local retirement homes and recently made a monetary donation and assisted NCFA help a young local boy with cancer be an honorary firefighter for a day.
