Hillcrest and Silverado Highlands Pump Stations Replacement Project

2020 Park Avenue and Jefferson Street Water Main Replacement Project
In 2020, the City of Napa replaced 2,610 feet of small older pipelines around the Park/Jefferson intersection with larger pipelines to improve flow and increase system reliability.
2019 Water Main Freeway Crossings Project (FEMA-Funded)
In 2019, the City of Napa replaced three Highway 29 freeway crossings that broke during the 2014 South Napa Earthquake with new mains to reestablish circulation within the water system.
In the second half of 2013, the City of Napa replaced several aged, leaking, and undersized freeway crossings with new mains to improve circulation within the water system.
In the first half of 2012, the City of Napa replaced a 7,400-foot section of water main on the west side of Highway 221 from Napa Valley College south to Kaiser Road, resulting in a major improvement in how water moves through our distribution system.
The Edward I. Barwick Jamieson Canyon Water Treatment Plant was improved to take beneficial use of the City's existing State Water Project entitlements, meet daily water demands alone for longer periods throughout the year, and comply with increasingly stringent water quality regulations.
