Flavored Tobacco Ban - New City Ordinance

During its October 20, 2020, meeting, Napa City Council voted unanimously in favor of updating the City’s smoking regulations, including placing a ban on the sale of flavored tobacco products within the City, with certain exemptions.

The City of Napa's Ordinance No. O2020-011, a smoking regulations law that requires tobacco retailers to follow new restrictions on the sale of certain tobacco products, will become effective January 1, 2021. These changes to Chapter 8.20 of the Napa Municipal Code are in line with California Senate Bill 793.
