Downtown Napa
Downtown Napa has lots of exciting shopping, dining, and entertainment venues to enjoy. Napa’s downtown has experienced a renaissance in development over the past few years. Several new projects and projects under construction have grown and diversified the types of businesses in the downtown. The Downtown Association (DoNapa.com) and Visit Napa Valley Welcome Center are great places to check out the activity.
There are also major commercial areas with available commercial spaces. For example, “First Street Napa” serves as the downtown’s retail anchor and increase pedestrian traffic in the commercial core. Check out the real estate contacts or the search at LoopNet.com for other spaces.
Oxbow District
The Oxbow District is a foodie haven. Named for the bend, or oxbow, of the Napa River, this area historically has been commercial/ industrial in nature and home to small hotels and food and beverage businesses. Oxbow Public Market, the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) at Copia, and the Napa Wine Train depot are all part of the fabric of this district.
The Urban Land Institute provided a report in 2018 around the placemaking possibilities and potential of this area.
The Napa Valley Commons is Napa's corporate park, located at the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 221. Situated on 246 acres, the corporate park is home to a variety of professional service organizations, a luxury hotel, several wineries and tasting rooms. Although the park is within the City's limits, the park is not owned or managed by the City. Napa Valley Commons is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the property owners. For leasing inquiries, please contact the Napa Valley Commons real estate representatives.
