[ARCHIVED] Cancellation of City of Napa Redistricting Community Workshops Scheduled In-Person on January 2022

Cancellation of Jan 15 Community Workshops

In an abundance of caution, and in light of the increased spread of COVID-19, the City of Napa is announcing the cancellation of the Saturday, January 15, 2022 Redistricting Community Workshops scheduled in-person at Harvest Middle School Library and the Las Flores Community Center Gym.

The City encourages all interested community members to watch the recording of the January 6, 2022 Virtual Community Workshop which is posted online at https://www.cityofnapa.org/1015/Resources (please find under the Meeting Materials on the right-hand column).

Another set of Community Workshops will be held virtually on Sunday, January 30 at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. Check our schedule webpage for participation details closer to the date. Please note that these Community Workshops were originally scheduled as in-person events, however, due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the City has decided to hold the Community Workshops virtually on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

Virtual Community Workshops where Demographer will provide a brief presentation to the public and solicit input from the public regarding proposed district boundaries 


Following the virtual presentation, members of the public are invited to draw their own maps using the online mapping tool, DistrictR 


Can’t virtually attend a workshop? There are still many ways to participate in the process!

Please visit our Draw a Map webpage to find additional information on how to draw your own maps or how to use alternative methods, such as physical participation maps. Take a look at all the options and do whatever works best for you!

You can find the draft district boundary map proposed by the demographer, by visiting our Draft Maps webpage. Review the proposed map and let us know what you think!

Community members are encouraged to complete a Community of Interest Worksheet, draw draft maps, provide public comments, or attend Public Hearings and Community Workshops.
