Get active, explore, and unwind in Napa's stunning parks
Napa is renowned for its picturesque parks and scenic trails that beckon outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. With over 54 parks covering 800 acres of lush greenery, Napa's Parks and Recreation Department offers a haven for relaxation and adventure. The City’s park system consists of a variety of recreation attractions, such as parks, open space, playgrounds, sport fields, a golf course, the Napa River and miles of natural and paved trails for walking, biking and hiking. Some of the most popular hiking trails are found in Alston Park, Oxbow Preserve, Trancas Crossing and Westwood Hills Park—and as a Napa Valley Vine Trail partner, there are 47 miles of biking and hiking trails to explore throughout the City and into the valley. Explore the Park Finder tool on the City of Napa’s website to discover the perfect park for your next outing.

Tee up new experiences at the Napa Golf Course and Main Street boat dock
Hole 9 at the Napa Golf Course is back open to the public after a long winter, and the course has added new combo tees to holes 6, 11, and 12 to provide an enhanced experience for players of all skill levels. If you’d rather spend summer days making a splash than taking a swing, Main Street boat dock will be offering short term mooring for private vessels and non-motorized craft launch. You can also book a kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding or Venetian gondola adventure on the river with one of Napa’s great vendors, including Enjoy Napa Valley, Napa Valley Paddle and Napa Valley Gondola.
