The City of Napa has been working on a comprehensive update to the Housing Element—one of the key elements of our City's General Plan—since early 2022. The Housing Element describes Napa’s housing needs and identifies strategies for responding to those needs over the course of the 2023-2031 period.
The latest draft of the Housing Element is now live on the Housing Element Update project website (link below). The public is encouraged to share feedback with the City on its contents. The project website includes:
