Community Open House
We would like to invite you to another public presentation and update on the Napa Public Safety and City Hall Facilities project. There will be two more opportunities for you to attend: Thursday, January 9, at 4:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m., held in City Council Chambers in City Hall at 955 School St. Our Project Team will give a brief presentation and be available to answer any questions you might have.

If you cannot make the presentations, there will be a display about the project and the options in the lobby of City Hall beginning on December 9th and running through January 10th. 

Financial Assistance with Napa Recycling and Waste Services Bill

IF SO, you are eligible for $10 per month in financial assistance with your Napa Recycling and Waste Services bill. Please bring your current PG&E bill as evidence to the NRWS Payment Center at 598 Lincoln Avenue  (MON–FRI, 8:30 AM–5 PM) to take advantage of this new
program — or you can fax / mail a copy to the below contact info.

Sandbag Saturdays Reminder

To help the community prepare for possible flooding, sandbags and sand are distributed free of charge to City residents and business owners the first Saturday in November, December, January, February, and March. The distribution takes places from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first Saturday of the month at the City Corporation Yard: 770 Jackson Street, Napa.

Urban Forestry Maintenance Assistant (Extra Help)

As an Urban Forestry Maintenance Assistant, you will perform assignments in our Urban Forestry Division. This is a temporary position working up to 40 hours per week depending on the weather and workload. This classification is at-will, not covered by the City's Civil Service System, and will not exceed a total of 1,000 hours for the Fiscal Year (July 1-June 30). No benefits are afforded, with the exception of participation in the mandatory temporary employee retirement plan and sick leave. The schedule is as follows: 6:00AM-2:30PM Mon-Tues; Wed-Thurs 5:30AM-2:30PM; and 5:30AM-12:30PM Fri (5 days, varying shifts). We intend for this position to begin work at the beginning of February. 
 
Downtown Park Maintenance Assistant (Extra Help)

As a Downtown Park Maintenance Assistant, you will perform assignments in our Parks and Urban Forestry Division for the City parks and landscapes. This is a temporary position working up to 40 hours per week depending on the weather and workload. This classification is at-will, not covered by the City's Civil Service System, and will not exceed a total of 1,000 hours for the Fiscal Year (July 1-June 30). No benefits are afforded, with the exception of participation in the mandatory temporary employee retirement plan and sick leave. This team works 4:00AM-12:30PM Mon-Fri (5 days, 8 hr shift).

As a Program Specialist, you will be part of a strong team who loves to serve the community! You will assist in planning and implementing programs that operate out of the Senior Center. Additionally, you will lead day-to-day operations of facility rentals. You will also coordinate part-time staff training for programs in Seniors, Special Events, and Preschool.
