Napa Art Walk Looking for a new outdoor activity? Check out the Napa Art Walk! This City-sponsored program aims to enhance Napa's quality of life by publicly exhibiting original, high-quality, sculpture from artists in the region. Disc Golf at Century Oaks ParkDisc Golf is played like traditional golf, but with discs (commonly known as Frisbees). One throw is counted each time the disc is thrown. The goal is to play each hole in the fewest throws possible. The player with the lowest total wins. Please bring your own equipment. Masks and social distancing rules must be followed. Ranger ProgramsDates and locations vary throughout the fall season. Our Rangers will help you explore our city parks, learn about park history, local plants and the wildlife that the parks home. Online Speaker SeriesThis series presents city and community leaders speaking on a on a variety of topics and issues that will inspire and inform. Our first guest, on Wednesday, September 9th 2-4 PM, is Clinical Psychologist Dr. Cherise Northcutt who will discuss the effects of prolonged stress and provide strategies for managing it in the long term. Basketball Free Throw Contest Saturday October 24th 10 AM – 2:00 PM Practice your free throws at one of our many parks sport courts and on October 24th we will see who the best free throw shooter is in Napa! Drive-Thru Trick or Treat Saturday, October 31st 1-3 PM Instead of trick or treating in your neighborhood, get dressed in your costumes, jump in your car and visit our drive-thru stations located at Las Flores Community Center, Senior Center, Napa Police and Fire Departments, and other locations to be determined to receive some trick-or-treat goodies. COVID-friendly protocols will be adhered to ensure items are safely provided through car windows.

City of Napa Truck Parade Tuesday, November 24th 10 AM The parade is coming to you! Fire trucks, Police cars, Public Works trucks, and more will be parading through the city’s neighborhoods for families to enjoy. You will get to see all the exciting things we do as a City! Green Friday Friday, November 27th Black Friday not your thing? Parks Docent, John Futini, will lead a walking tour at Alston and Trancas Crossing Parks. Information on history of the land, and highlights of the local flora and fauna will be topics of discussion. Dress in weather appropriate outdoor gear, bring your mask, water and footwear that is comfortable for a moderate amount of walking. Limited to 10 people per hike. Please register HERE.

With these challenging economic times due to COVID-19, this program makes special considerations for families who may have been negatively affected. Kestrel Open House and CruisesMain Street Boat Dock Saturday, September 5th Tideline Marine Group presents free river cruises on the new Kestrel boat. Cruises are approximately 30 minutes departing at 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30 PM. Please RSVP to [email protected] to secure your ride! GolfNapa Golf Course An 18-hole full service championship daily fee golf course with practice facilities consisting of an 8,500 square foot putting green, modest chipping green, and 22 individual stall driving range outfitted with synthetic mats. The pro-shop has a full complement of merchandise from golf balls to clubs. The clubhouse is currently offering food and beverage service on the patio. Year round youth and adult lessons, for players of all skill, are available from our on-staff PGA Class A Professionals. With four sets of tees to accommodate golfers of any skill level, user friendly, fun, and provides affordable access to all.

Air Quality We have adopted the following guidelines for recreational programs during times of poor air quality. The policy is based on Air Quality Index (AQI) levels as established by the Bay Area Quality Management District. When considered unhealthy for the sensitive groups zone or orange (101 to 150) or above, outside activities and programs will be suspended. Indoor activities and programs will be suspended when air quality gets into the red zone (151 to 200) or above.
