GPAC Quick Hits Newsletter

This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

GPAC Meeting Recap 


The General Plan Advisory Committee held a Workshop on Monday, February 1 to provide comments on the draft Framework documents for the Community Services, Parks & Recreation Element, Historic Resources Element, Natural Resources Conservation Element, and the Economic Development Element. Using the online tool Miro, the GPAC provided comments on a "sticky note" exercise which are posted on the Napa2040 website and available below.

Hazard Mitigation Plan Survey!


We are excited to share with you all the Napa Public Hazard Mitigation Survey! Please share with your networks!
 
The survey is open until April 30, 2021. Any participant who leaves contact info will be entered to win a $150 Stihl voucher. The survey is available in English and Spanish.

The outreach graphic on the left can be used on social media or other postings, including a QR code for accessing the survey via hard copies around town.

City Offices Closed - Staff Still At Work

All public counters in Napa City offices are closed to the public, and open only on a by-appointment basis. By modifying services, using social distancing and offering assistance and service over the phone, we can do our part to minimize COVID-19 exposure to City staff and the public.
