Updated Guidance on GatheringsWith vaccination rates up and COVID-19 cases down, the California Department of Public Health is allowing more activities to resume with modifications. Starting April 15, counties in Orange Tier (such as Napa) will allow:
- Outdoor gatherings of up to 50 people and
- Private events (such as meetings or conferences) of up to 100 people or 300 if all guests are tested or show proof of full vaccination
- Indoor live events at venues with a capacity of up to 1,500 people are limited to 15%
- Indoor live events at venues with a capacity of more than 1,500 people are limited to 10%
Though more activities are allowed to resume, we all must still wear masks and continue to physically distance to avoid going backward.

Upcoming Napa City Council Meeting On Tuesday, April 20th, the Napa City Council will hold their regular meeting at 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

- Sending a written comment before or during the meeting by sending an email to [email protected] Please identify the agenda item number and letter of the item you're commenting on and keep it 500 words or less (per person, per item). Ensure the subject line includes "COMMENT TO COUNCIL - PLEASE READ."
- Calling (707) 257-9503 and identifying your name, phone number and the agenda item number and letter you would like to comment on. During the meeting, a representative from the City Clerk's office will call you so you can provide your comments to the Council.

Celebrate Earth Day 2021 To truly preserve our Earth and home for years to come, we all must do our part to take care of it. Napa is partnering with Napa Resource Conservation District this Earth Day to host a physically distanced and safe community cleanup on Saturday, April 24.
To ensure volunteers are able to stay safe and follow Napa County's COVID-19 gathering guidelines, there will be 10 different sites throughout Napa that participants can help clean. Volunteers will need to register in advance.

Browns Valley Trunk Project Construction Update!During the week of April 12, pipeline installation continued along First Street from Easum Drive to Laurel Street. The week of April 19, pipeline installation will continue further west along First Street and Browns Valley Road from Laurel Street to west of Robinson Lane. This work will continue west towards Thompson Avenue through the month of April.

6th Annual Napa County Water Conservation Video ContestGet those cameras ready! The 6th annual Napa County Water Conservation Video Contest is now open to all local students – and families! 30-second videos capturing this year’s theme Imagine Our Water-Wise Future are due by Friday, May 28. With more frequent drought conditions seemingly the new normal, entrants are asked to imagine a water-wise Napa County in the year 2040, with conservation protecting our water resources for generations to come.
Winners will be announced via social media and local agency web sites. The 1st place video will be shown before all films at Century Napa Valley Theatre for one week this summer. Top prize also includes $250 cash and a $60 gift card for the Theatre! The 2nd and 3rd place videos garner $150 and $100 cash prizes.
