Employee Recognition: Chris Gilbert The City of Napa would like to recognize Chris Gilbert from the Napa Fire Department as an outstanding performer in 2020!
Battalion Chief Christopher Gilbert was serving as NFD’s EMS Captain when the COVID-19 Pandemic began. Chris immediately stepped up to the challenge of providing assistance and leadership at a city-wide level.
Chris also assisted in providing the appropriate workplace safety accommodations to city staff, facilitated the early vaccination efforts for city staff and has led our partnership with the county in assisting with administering vaccines to our most threatened and vulnerable populations.

Remember that sandbags are available for free pickup on the first Saturday of each month through March at the City's Corporation Yard (note: January 2022's Sandbag Saturday will be held on January 8th). Next option for pickup is this Saturday, December 4!
