REMINDER: Drought rules are still in effect. Sprinkler irrigation is limited to two days per week, but just one day per week is recommended through May. After some rain on Saturday, the weather will turn summer-like next week. Resist the temptation to blast those lawn sprinklers. It’s only spring – and we may see a little more rain at the end of March.

Honoring Napa's Health Care WorkersAt this past Tuesday's City Council Meeting, the Napa City Council read a proclamation honoring our health care workers here in Napa. In particular, the proclamation honored the responsibility, dedication and fortitude of these devoted individuals to continue administering services in the face of danger and uncertainty. This dedication serves as an absolute inspiration to all.
Joining us for the proclamation were representatives from Queen of the Valley, OLE Health and Kaiser Permanente.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every health care worker in our community.

Napa’s Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (Napa EIFD) The City of Napa is in the process of forming Napa’s Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (Napa EIFD) on more than 830 acres of land (7% of the City) to help finance public capital projects and community wide projects within the City. ??
Napa EIFD is not a new tax; it uses future incremental City revenue from existing property tax rates to fund public capital facilities and infrasture. These improvements will offer numerous benefits to current residents including:
- 1,161 new housing units - 189 affordable housing units - More than 2,290 permanent jobs - More than 12,000 temporary construction-related jobs
