The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has started work on a long-term project to repair the pavement on State Route 29 (SR-29) between the City of Napa and just south of the City of St. Helena.

Pavement Repair on SR-29 through the Napa Valley
As part of the project, Caltrans and its contractor will perform overnight pavement preparation work which includes drainage and culvert work on northbound and southbound SR-29 between Yountville and St. Helena.

Overnight Work Starts April 2, 2018
The work starts Monday, April 2, 2018 until Friday, April 20, 2018. Work is scheduled Mondays through Fridays starting at 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM the following mornings.

One-Way Traffic Controls-Expect Delays
To ensure worker and public safety, one-way traffic controls will be in effect during the work on SR-29 between Yountville and St. Helena. Crews will alternate lane closures in both northbound and southbound directions. Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
