Urban Tech Talk - Napa: 2040 General Plan Conversation Starters

The City of Napa is planning a series of talks for the community as a prequel to our 2040 General Plan update. These talks will focus on issues and ideas that will inform the decisions we make now and years from now when it comes to planning the future of our City.
We had an unprecedented and overwhelming interest in our first scheduled talk on May 18, and reached capacity for our venue almost instantly. We are exploring how we can expand capacity for the event, so for the time being, we are unable to accept RSVPs. We hope to add additional seating and as soon as we have an update, we will post it to our Facebook, Twitter and Nextdoor pages, as well as on www.cityofnapa.org.
We appreciate the interest in this very important topic – and we appreciate our community’s investment in our future!

Tap Water Day Open House

On Saturday, May 12, the City opens its Edward I. Barwick Jamieson Canyon Water Treatment Plant to visitors for plant tours, historical exhibits, children’s activities, refreshments, and more. See the laboratory, pumps, tanks, and treatment processes that provide clean, safe drinking water 24/7. This free community event runs from 10 am to 2 pm at 270 Kirkland Ranch Road, just off Highway 12. For more, visit cityofnapa.org/water.

Bay-Friendly Garden Tour

On Sunday, May 20, Napa’s 7^th Bay-Friendly Garden Tour features beautiful resource-efficient landscapes at nine City locations. Discover eye-catching water-wise plants, pollinator habitat, vibrant lawn-free entertaining spaces, rainwater harvesting, recycled art, and more. Mini-workshops will be held at select sites.
