City Offices Closed Monday, November 12, in Observance of Veterans Day


The City will be closed on Monday, November 12, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.

We would like to take a moment to thank our men and women of the armed forces, retired or active, for their service to our country!

Here is a list of ceremonies from the Napa Valley Register that will be taking place across Napa County this weekend to mark the 100th anniversary of Veterans Day.

Coat, Costume and Shoe Drive - this Saturday, November 10th!


This Saturday, November 10th from 10 AM to 2 PM at Redwood Plaza Shopping Center - donate your gently used coats, costumes and shoes!

Wondering where your donations will go?

Coats - will stay in the community and be distributed by Salvation Army! 
Halloween costumes - will be available at events in Napa free next year!
Shoes in any condition -  will be reused or recycled by Soles4Souls (depending on the condition)!

PG&E has cancelled possible power outages at this time


PG&E has called off the public safety power shut downs at this time. However, weather conditions can change quickly and PG&E urges customers to stay prepared with their emergency plans. Napa County continues to monitor conditions.

City Clerk Announces Commission and Committee Openings


Want to make a difference in your community? Do you have expertise you could share? The City Clerk is accepting applications from Napa Residents for a total of four openings; one to serve on the Parks, Recreation and Trees Advisory Commission, two to serve on the Planning Commission, and one to serve on the Napa Valley Transportation Active Transportation Advisory Committee. Please submit applications by 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018. See a full list of the openings and descriptions here

Napa Art Walk Voting for People's Choice

Voting Now Open for Napa Art Walk People's Choice


The City of Napa is excited to announce that polls are now open for People’s Choice Award for the current Napa Art Walk exhibition! The winning artist will be featured on next year’s Art Walk brochure and receive prizes donated from local businesses. 

Please vote HERE and share with your local networks. Please only one vote per person. Voting is accepted through May 2019. Your participation offers the curation team insight about how to best select artworks for this ever-growing program. 

The Napa Art Walk is a curated walking tour program that showcases regularly rotating installation art throughout downtown Napa, California. Since its inception in 2009, it is currently in its fifth exhibition of the biennial rotating public art program. The City is currently accepting submissions for the 2019-2021 collection. The full call for artists may be viewed at the Call For Entry website.

Playground Fantastico

Park Renovations at Fantastico Park


Fantastico Park is now closed for renovations. But don't worry - the park will have a brand new state of the art play structure when construction is complete! The City led a design process in partnership with the community to develop the proposed playground design. We encourage you to check out our website to learn more and provide your input. 

And, the Napa Valley Register just wrote a great article on the park's history and the exciting new future plans!

Park Improvements! Sports Court Resurfacing Projects 


Several public sports courts around the City of Napa will soon be resurfaced and striped to meet current standards!
