General Plan Updates

Upcoming Outreach Events

Efforts are underway to develop a new General Plan for the City of Napa. One of the goals at the heart of the General Plan process is community outreach and engagement. Ensuring that our residents have a voice in the process is key to developing a General Plan that truly serves our community for many years to come. In the coming weeks, you will see an increase in outreach, which will include workshops, pop-up events, print and online outreach (in English and Spanish), as well as participation in various community events.

Here is a round-up of important dates to look out for:

Early March: Launch of a community-wide online survey to gain community feedback on General Plan direction, as well as an informational newsletter with General Plan updates
March 11: Community Workshop, New Tech High School
April 1: General Plan Advisory Committee Meeting, NVTA Board Room
April 30: Joint Meeting of the Planning Commission and City Council

As these dates get closer, more information will be available at napa2040.com, as well as the City’s Facebook, Nextdoor and Twitter pages.

You can direct any questions to [email protected] and subscribe to the General Plan newsletter at https://napa2040.com/contact-us.
