Napa Roundabouts Underway Caltrans, the City of Napa and the Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) broke ground on Monday, June 3, on the first roundabouts to be constructed in Napa Valley. Three roundabouts will be constructed on State Route 29 (SR-29) in the City of Napa near First Street and California Boulevard, converting existing traffic signals and stop signs to roundabouts. As the project progresses, we will keep you and the community updated, as there will be many moving parts and phases to the project. You can view the full media release on our website here.

Road Work Ahead This Week Soscol AvenueCrews will be grinding and paving on Soscol Ave in both north and south bound lanes starting Monday, June 10th and ending Friday, June 21st. The work will begin in the southbound lanes starting at 6th Street and ending at Oil Company Road. Once completed work will begin in the northbound lanes beginning at Saratoga Drive and ending at 8th Street. Work hours will be from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm each day. We will only be blocking one lane of traffic per day, and providing traffic control around the closed lane. We will make sure traffic can get around the work while we are working, and should open the lane at the end of each day. Please be safe while driving through the area!Street Rejuvenation – Various Neighborhoods The City will be performing street rejuvenation in a number of neighborhoods over the next week and a half - from Monday, June 10 through Tuesday, June 18. Neighborhoods have been notified of the upcoming work. You can view a list of streets that will be affected by date, as well as maps, here.

2019 Napa County Water Conservation Video Contest Winners
We have a winner! Actually we have winners, as the Napa High team of Sarah Carleton and Emma Wallenbrock successfully captured this year’s theme, Water in a Changing Climate, in their 1st place video in the 2019 Napa County Water Conservation Video Contest. The 30-second public service announcement will be up on the big screen as part of the pre-show program for all films shown at the Century Napa Valley Theatre Friday, June 7 through Thursday, June 13. Each of the winning partners also received a $60 gift card for Century Napa Valley. This fourth annual video contest was once again sponsored by the Cities of Napa, American Canyon, St. Helena, and Calistoga, the Town of Yountville, Napa County, and the Napa County Resource Conservation District (RCD). It was open to all students in grades 9-12 attending school in Napa County. Final judging was conducted by representatives from the City of Napa, NapaSan, the County, and the RCD. Congratulations also go out to this year’s 2nd place winner Martin Arriaga from Napa High, and 3rd place winner Itzi Padilla from American Canyon High. Changes to Napa Parking PermitsComing July 1, 2019Effective July 1, 2019, the City of Napa will no longer be selling parking permits at City Hall. Effective May 15, 2019, parking permits are now available for purchase online here.
A parking map is provided on the reverse side of this flyer pointing to all available permit parking locations.
Permit Parking will remain $30 per month per permit. The online platform offers the ability to purchase multiple months at a time. There will be a $3.50 convenience fee in addition to the purchase cost. Parking permits will be mailed to you upon purchase. Your purchase receipt will act as your temporary parking permit. The temporary parking permit will expire 2 weeks after purchase. Your parking permit should arrive by mail within 5-7 business days.
