City of Napa Utilities Department Office Relocation and Consolidation

New office location at 1700 Second Street beginning October 29, 2019

Beginning October 29, 2019, the City of Napa Utilities Department, which consists of the Water and Recycling/Solid Waste Divisions, will be reopening at its new location at 1700 Second Street, Suite 100, Napa.
 
The Water and Recycling/Solid Waste Divisions will be closed to the public on Monday, October 28, 2019, to accommodate the relocation.

Trancas Street Paving Work

Final paving work on Trancas Street will be complete by Saturday evening! Day work will commence between 7AM and 2PM which includes a median lane closure as the crews perform median concrete work. From 9PM to 6AM Saturday, crews will perform final paving work. As a reminder, the Highway 29 Northbound ramps are closed, and the entrance to Bel-Aire Plaza via Bel-Aire/California will be closed.

Napa Senior Center Exhibit - 2D Art 
The City of Napa is opening a call for 2D at the Napa Senior Center in their newly remodeled Maple Room.  Artwork will be displayed for a 6-month period (January to June or July to December 2020). Entry deadline 12/30/19. 

Eligibility:  Applicants must be artists currently living or working in Napa Valley, CA. They must be at least 50 years of age.  City employees and their immediate family members are ineligible.

The Fire Inspector performs initial and annual inspections of existing buildings and fire protection systems, and review of new construction and fire protection systems to insure compliance with laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to the control and prevention of fires; develops, organizes and coordinates specific fire and life safety programs and services; issues fire permits; and provides responsible administrative and technical assistance in support of the City's Fire Prevention programs and its customers.
