Monday June 7, 2010 “NapaCity Nights” is back again this summer with a bigger, better and more excitingline up. Every Friday night through the summer the “Napa City Nights” crew rockVeterans Memorial Park with three live bands from around the region. For thefull lineup log on to www.napacitynights.com. Five Saturday night “Movies in the Park” are on the bill this summer. Enjoy great films under the stars on a huge 25- foot. The park fills up fast on movie nights so patrons are encouraged to pick up dinner from one of the excellent downtown restaurants and come early. Shows begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. The lineup this summer is:
New this summer is free Shakespeare-in-the-park in collaboration with Shakespeare Napa Valley and Napa Valley College. A fun family-oriented pirate-themed production of “The Taming of the Shrew,” directed by Jennifer King, comes to Veterans Park for six performances August 20-29, with "curtain" time at 7:00 p.m. |
