Tuesday May 6, 2008

Webcasting of City Council meetings began with the May 6 meeting through the City of Napa's new video on demand service. Meeting video can be viewed live as it happens, or at a later time from the video archives. The system allows webcast viewers to see the meeting agenda and related meeting documents on the same screen with the video. When viewing the archived video, users may jump to specific marked points in the meeting at any time.

In addition to the meetings of the City Council, the new service will also provide video of Napa Community Rerdevelopment Agency Board meetings, City of Napa Housing Authority meetings, and Planning Commission meetings.
