    Join the City of Napa Park Rangers once a month for our Read with a Ranger program. We will meet on the first Saturday of every month to read a nature related story and go for a short, guided hike in Westwood Hills Park. Learn about the trees and the grounds they live on as you stroll leisurely among them. Learn about their beauty "in flower and form." Become more aware of the diversity and beauty of trees. Lace up your shoes and sign up! Wear comfortable walking shoes. Water and restroom facilities available. Fuller Park is handicap accessible.   3. History of Alston Park

    Join the City of Napa on a docent led tour of Alston Park. The second Saturday of the month, our parks docent will lead a one hour walking tour of the park. Information on history of the land, transformation into the park and highlights of the local flora and fauna will be topics of discussion. Appropriate footwear and weather appropriate clothing is recommended. The tour will begin at 10am and meet at the information kiosk just off the south parking lot close to Trower.

    Start the weekend early. Third Thursdays is moving to Fuller Park. Bring a picnic and a chair or a blanket. Enjoy the music under the shade in Napa’s oldest park. June 20 – Kenya Baker Award winning guitarist and composer and multi-talented musician Kenya Baker plays blues, jazz, funk, soul and R&B. Their jazzy blues and funk original grooves feature sparse vocals, shredding guitar solos, funky bass lines and old skool drumbeats. July 18 - Shabang! Steel Drum Band A native of St. Lucia, Harry Best is a seasoned songwriter and acclaimed steel drummer. If you ask Harry he'll tell you that the real secret to Shabang's charm is their fun-loving approach to their performances. August 15 – Nick Schott Specializing in Latin styles as well as your favorite Jazz and pop instrumentals, which include a huge variety from classic rock and modern artist favorites. Enjoy his exciting and beautiful solo, instrumental acoustic guitar. *Entertainment subject to change.
