The Voter Information Guides for the May 19, 2009 Special Statewide Election will be shipped by the Secretary of State no later than Tuesday April 28, 2009 according to information received from the Secretary today. “These voter information guides contain all the information that voters need to make an informed decision on the 6 measures on the Statewide Special Election ballots and sample ballot pamphlets that 70,000 Napa County registered voters received early this week,” explained John Tuteur Napa County Registrar of Voters.

During the evening of 4/17/09 the Napa Police Department will be conducting DUI Saturation Patrols in the city limits of Napa. The saturation patrols will be in an area where the City of Napa has experienced a high number of collisions because the driver was driving under the influence and in areas where a high number of DUI arrests have been made.
