San Francisco County in northern California...
Sonoma County in northern California...
Napa County in northern California...

San Benito County in central California...
Monterey County in central California...

* until 1015 am PST.

* At 715 am PST National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated several areas of moderate rainfall moving through the San Francisco and Monterey Bay regions...

This rainfall is occurring over many areas that have received over 2 inches of rain over the past couple of days.

Runoff from locally heavy rainfall is expected to cause ponding or flooding on some roadways... poor drainage areas and low lying spots. Also... heavy rainfall is expected to cause elevated levels on small creeks and streams and may cause flooding of some.

Allow extra time to get to your destination. If water covers the roadway do not cross it. The water may be too deep to allow your
vehicle to cross safely.

A flood advisory means that nuisance flooding is occurring or is expected. To report flooding... have the nearest law enforcement agency relay your report to the National Weather Service forecast office.
