A contractor working for the City of Napa is now completing the replacement of the First Street Bridge over the Napa River just west of Silverado Trail. Work began in June 2008 and the street was reopened on August 1, 2009. 

The photo shows the bridge in the early stages of demolition in July, 2008.

The City of Napa's Recycling Division and Water Division will join in the educational component of Earth Day activities in Napa on Saturday, April 19.

The City of Napa is conducting a sealed bid sale of buildings located at 429 First Street, Napa. The parties submitting the highest qualified cash bid price will be required to relocate the house and related accessory structure(s) to another site.
