The Napa Police Department offers the opportunity for citizens to accompany a Police Officer on patrol.  Ride-Alongs can be scheduled no more than once every six months and for a period not to exceed four hours.

Those interested should completely fill out a Ride-Along Request Form .  Sign the form and return it to the Napa Police Department Records Bureau located at 1539 First Street, Napa, CA 94559.  A parent's signature is required for everyone under the age of 18 years old wishing to ride.

The completed form should be submitted at least ten (10) days in advance. Once the form is received a preliminary background check will be conducted.

You will be notified within five (5) working days if your request is approved or denied.
