The second phase of work on a water main installation on Trancas Street between Montclair Avenue and Beard Road will continue Tuesday September 4 through Friday September 7.  During these daytime work hours eastbound traffic from Queen of the Valley Hospital is recommended to use alternate driveways or Villa Lane, and westbound traffic from Beard Road recommended to use Villa Lane.Trancas will be reduced to one lane in either direction. Left turning movements will not be permitted for westbound traffic turning onto Beard Road. Local residents are recommended to use the signal at Villa Lane (and then right on Pear Tree Lane) to access Beard Road during construction hours. Left turning movements will also not be permitted for eastbound traffic turning into the Queen of the Valley Hospital at the Beard Road signalized intersection. Local residents and emergency vehicles are recommended to use the driveway located west of the Beard Road signal, or Villa Lane to access Queen of the Valley Hospital.
