After an earthquake, you may have a range of reactions. You may feel shock, fear, anger, helplessness, or sadness. You may find it harder to fall asleep or sleep well. In the days that follow, you may think of the earthquake again. These are all common reactions that should pass within a few days.
If you are in need of help to cope in any way, the Red Cross Assistance Center is currently providing caseworkers to offer one-on-one sessions with residents to provide information on how to recover from any earthquake related symptoms.
You may also call the Red Cross Hotline at 1-877-978-2725 for additional information.
