The August 24th earthquake caused over 150 water main breaks in the City of Napa water system. Following the earthquake, the City had advised precautionary measures for drinking or cooking water for customers who had an interruption of service to repair a water main break. All repairs have now been completed and over 300 water samples have been tested. Sample locations throughout the system have shown the water is clean and safe for all uses. We are now glad to report that all precautionary measures are lifted. This message is provided by the City of Napa (System No. 281003) in collaboration with the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water.
