On Tuesday, September 16, the City Council approved a method for providing low-interest loans to homeowners whose properties were damaged in the August 24 South Napa Earthquake. The City received state approval to expand CalHome funding to quake-related repairs. About $450,000 was available at the time to be used for an Emergency Repair Program and a Rehab Loan Program.
Funds available for grants through the emergency repair program have been exhausted, but funds for loan remain available.
Rehab Loan Program
- To qualify you must be a homeowner within the city limits of Napa and be income eligible
- 20 year low and no interest loans of up to $58,000 are available to repair your home if you qualify
- Low income homeowners may be eligible for a 0% interest deferred payment loan
- Available for homeowners of conventional homes, mobile homes, condos, duplexes and other buildings
