As of today, the Small Business Administration (SBA) has approved disaster loans totaling $12.2 million to help 313 Napa and Solano county residents and businesses with their recovery from the impact of the South Napa Earthquake.
- $11.2 million to help 298 homeowners and renters pay for residential and personal property losses
- $1.0 million to help 15 businesses pay for property damage and disaster working capital needs
With many applications still being processed these loan approvals will only increase. Napa and Solano county homeowners, renters and businesses have until December 29 to register for federal disaster assistance. To be considered for all forms of disaster assistance, victims must first call the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at (800) 621-FEMA (3362). Apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure Web site at: https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela Apply in person at any Disaster Recovery Center and receive personal, one-on-one help from an SBA representative. For Napa applicants, the Local Assistance Center (NapaLAC) is located at 301 First Street in Napa.
