The City estimates about $600,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant funds will be available for allocation in Fiscal Year 2015-16 (7/1/15 through 6/30/ 16). All funds will be allocated in accordance with federal guidelines to principally benefit low and moderate income persons residing in the City of Napa. Applications will be reviewed by the CDBG Citizens’ Advisory Committee. The first Committee meeting to review applications will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the City of Napa's City Council Chambers, City Hall, 955 School Street, Napa. It is anticipated that the City Council will be holding a public hearing on funding recommendations in March, 2015. All interested parties are encouraged to apply for CDBG funds. The final funding amount has not yet been furnished by HUD, and final adjustments to the funds available will be made according to the final allocation amount published by HUD.
