Vertical Pole Banner Program
|ABOUT THE VERTICAL POLE BANNER PROGRAM|
The City of Napa horizontal street banner exists to support local business and non-profit community events within Downtown Napa. The City of Napa allows applicants to select from two types of vertical banners that can be installed on two different types of city light poles. They are:
The maximum time limit for banners on City light poles is based upon the purpose and promotional focus of the banners. Banners with general promotional messages or designated geographic areas relating to the downtown, (e.g., “Do Napa”) will not have specific time limits, but will be subject to scheduling and requests on a first-come, first-served basis.Banners that promote a specific event or date-specific activities shall be limited to thirty (30) days.
|To be eligible for approval, banner messages must promote community events and events that are open to the public. All applications must comply with the banner program guidelines found here. Banners may not be installed without first receiving both a banner permit and an encroachment permit. If you have any questions about the eligibility of your banner messaging, please contact the City’s Economic Development staff for clarification.|
