The Napa City Fire Department Reserve Program was organized in 1959. The Reserves augment full time fire fighting personnel during incidents which require additional staffing beyond the departments normal resources. Reserves are utilized on structure fires, wild land fires, hazardous materials incidents and large scale disasters such as floods or earthquakes. In addition to recalls, each Reserve rides as a member of the crew 24hrs per month and attends bi-monthly training sessions. Fire Department Reserves, along with their professional counterparts, are very committed to working together to save the lives and property of our citizens.
