As part of its continuing effort to save
lives on our roadways, the Napa Police Department will conduct DUI
saturation patrols within the city limits of Napa on Friday August 8, 2008. Officers will focus their patrols
in areas where there have been a high number of DUI related traffic collisions
and DUI arrests.
Police Department will be looking for impaired drivers. Drinkers are advised to find
an alternate method to get from one place to another or designate a driver who
will not be drinking.
Funding for the saturation patrols comes from
a grant the Napa Police Department received from the California Office of
Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
