UPDATED Monday January 26, 2008

A series of community workshops on the City of Napa’s Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan will conclude this week. At these workshops, residents are learning more about the Master Plan process and are participating in fun, interactive exercises and lively discussion. The final workshops in the series will be held Wednesday January 28, 7pm to 9pm, at Las Flores Community Center, 4300 Linda Vista Avenue.

At this workshop residents will have the opportunity to tell the Community Resources Department what’s working well and what needs to be improved in the Parks and Recreation system.

The Parks and Recreation Master Plan is a blueprint that will guide parks planning for the next 15 years in the City of Napa. The planning process is scheduled to continue throughout 2009.

Residents who cannot attend one of the workshops are invited to fill out the online questionnaire found at www.napaparksmasterplan.org . The survey is also available at the City’s Community Resources Department, 1100 West Street, and at recreational facilities throughout Napa. For more information call 707-257-9529.
