City offices and workplaces are housed in many locations. The map below and the list that follows shows the sites where the City's work takes place each day, and includes some locations you may have a need to visit.

City Hall, 955 School Street
City Council Chambers and the Committee Room are located on the west side of City Hall. The South Wing of City Hall is home to the Offices of the Mayor , City Manager , Assistant City Manager for Administrative Services, City Attorney , City Clerk , and Community Outreach Coordinator . The North Wing of City Hall houses the Finance Department and the Information Technology Division. The Collections Division provides a window for the payment of business license fees, parking permits and citations, water bills, and other invoices due to the City. This customer service window is staffed from 8:30am to 5:00pm each weekday.

Community Services Building, 1600 First Street
The Community Development Department (Planning, Building, and Code Enforcement ), Public Works Department , and Fire Prevention are housed in the Community Services Building (also known as CSB.) Corporation Yard, 770 Jackson Street
The City Corp Yard at 770 Jackson Street is not a location the public often visits, but is used for non-emergency sandbag distribution programs during the fall and winter and for other activities on an as-needed basis.

Economic Development/Redevelopment Departments, 1600 Clay Street
The offices of the Economic Development and Redevelopment Departments are the best source for information on new business in the City of Napa. The staff works with prospective new projects and existing businesses to keep the Napa economy healthy. This office on the Clay Street side is in the same building as the Housing Division, which fronts on Seminary Street. 

Fire Stations


  • Fire Station 1 is traditionally the busiest of Napa's four stations. Built in 1962, Fire Station 1 is located at 930 Seminary Street in the Downtown area.
  • Fire Station 2 is adjacent to Napa High School at 1501 Park Avenue. It's the oldest Fire Station in town, built in 1950.
  • Fire Station 3 was built in 1987 and serves the north side of town from 2000 Trower Avenue, near Highway 29.
  • Fire Station 4 is the newest fire facility, located at 251 Gasser Drive, near the intersection of Soscol Avenue and Imola Avenue. It was opened for service in 2004.  


Housing Division, 1115 Seminary Street
The Housing Division administers programs such as the Affordable Housing Program, First Time Homebuyers Program, Section 8 Rental Assistance,  the Housing Rehab program and others. 

Human Resources Department, 1541 Second Street
Applicants for employment with the City of Napa may visit the Human Resources Department for information, or can use online services to learn more and apply for a position.·

Las Flores Community Center, 4300 Linda Vista Avenue
The Las Flores Center is a small neighborhood community center used for recereation programs and meetings.  

Napa Senior Activity Center, 1500 Jefferson Street
A variety of activities take place each day at the Senior Center, which features recreation facilities and meeting rooms.

Parks and Recreation Services Department, 1100 West Street
The Parks and Recreation Services Department (PRS) handles parks, recreation programs, and the maintenance of City facilities. CRD supervises the operation of the Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park , maintains our City parks and other public spaces, processes your registrations for recreatioal activities and reservations for meetings and picnic facilties in our parks, among other tasks.·

Pelusi Building, 2296 Streblow Drive
The Pelusi Building is located in Kennedy Park, just south of Napa Valley College. It is available for public use on a reservation basis.

Police Department and Fire Department Administration, 1539 First Street
All Police functions are headquartered here, along with Adminstrative offices for the Fire Department .

Water Division, 1340 Clay Street
The Water Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the municipal water system serving the City and adjacent areas. Water administration, engineering, and conservation staff are headquartered at this downtown office where there is also an extensive selection of educational materials.
