A meeting including the City Manager, Police Chief, Fire Chief, Public Works Director and other key staff was held at 11am Sunday, February 22, 2009, to assess weather conditions and the forecast in regard to the threat of flooding.

During the meeting, a call was made to the National Weather Service, and City officials were informed that there are no current advisories, watches or warnings posted for the Napa area. Rainfall is expected to continue in the form of showers throughout the day and diminish tonight.

As of 11am, the level of Napa Creek at Highway 29 was at about 5 five, which is 3.5 feet below the monitor stage and 5.5 feet below the flood stage. 

City officials will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day.
