The Napa Police Traffic Unit is responsible for responding to injury collisions, neighborhood traffic complaints, managing the crossing guard contract, vehicle abatement, enforcing the California Vehicle Code and local municipal ordinances, the Automated Red-light Program, Truck Routes and providing educational programs for the community.

Always buckle up and wear the seat belt properly.
Do not place the shoulder strap under your arm.
Remember residential streets have a maximum speed limit of 25 MPH.
Take a look at your speedometer periodically and make sure you are traveling at or below the posted speed limit. Of the number of people stopped for speeding, seven out of 10 were not aware of how fast they were traveling.
