Responsibilities

The Community Relations Analyst works at the direction of the City Manager to provide public information to the community.

Community Communication Tools

Some of the communications tools in use include:

  • Social media, view the City of Napa Facebook page and City of Napa Twitter page
  • City of Napa website
  • Newsletters, such as the City of Napa News Weekly, Email Community Outreach and write "Subscribe to Newsweekly" in the subject line please
  • Assistance to the media in story development
  • City of Napa News monthly in the Napa Valley Marketplace Magazine
  • Media distributions, such as the monthly Napa City Update in the Napa Valley Register.
  • Presentations, available on request, from members of the City's speakers bureau
  • Public meetings
  • Flyers, special project handouts, and other printed materials as needed

All residents are encouraged to register for urgent notifications on the Nixle website or simply text your zip code to 888-777.

Community Survey
