The City of Napa has 12 Boards, Commissions or Committees that support the City Council and City Departments.  Volunteering to serve on a City Board, Commission or Committee is a powerful way to get involved in your community!

Upcoming Board, Commission and Committee Term Expirations and/or Current Vacancies

  •  Bicycle and Trails Advisory Commission
     Two seats available
  • Community Development Block Grant Citizens' Committee
    Two seats available
  • Parks, Recreation and Tree Advisory Commission
    Two seats available;
    One seat shall be a person who demonstrates experience in one of the required fields.
  • Senior Advisory Commission
    Four seats available;
    Three seats shall be a "Senior Community at Large Representative"
    One seat shall be a "Senior Agency Representative"

Please submit application by 5 pm, Friday, August 16, 2019. 

To be considered for appointment, you must complete the application online by clicking  on the Apply for a Board button. Applicants must be City of Napa residents and registered voters. Applications may be completed at any time.

Appointees to Committees, Commissions and Boards are required by State Law to file a Form 700 Conflict of Interest Code. For further information about the Form 700 Conflict of Interest Code, please visit the California Fair Political Practices (FPPC) website.

Policies and Procedures 
The City Council has adopted Policy Resolution No. 10 regarding the norms of operation and rules of order and procedure for the City established Boards, Commissions and Committees. Policy Resolution No. 10 also describes the selection process and obligations of commissioners, if appointed.
