This hands-on leadership training program is perfect for teens interested in learning more about working with youth, recreation, and camp programs. LITs will build self-esteem, independence, and leadership skills while they assist summer camp staff as they provide recreation programs for campers. During your summer as an LIT, you will learn how to lead activities, help make campers feel welcome, and assist summer camp staff with special projects. Applicants for the LIT program must be at least 13 or entering the 7th grade by the start date of the session to which they apply. Space is limited in this program and an interview is required.
