NAPA Lighted Art Festival
Light becomes art in this unique lighted art walk. Ten to fifteen original art works are installed throughout downtown Napa and the Oxbow District. The festival supports innovative techniques using light and light technologies as a growing art medium. The spirit of the festival embodies an innovative, inspiring and imaginative collection of artwork for the whole community to enjoy.
OxBOO Fall Festival
The OxBOO Festival celebrates Halloween fun and raises money for community youth programs. Activities include the KIDical Mass Bike Ride, 5K Zombie Run, Pumpkin Races, Coffin Races, “Thriller” and other family activities. perform it at the festival. Live music all day, festival food, and pumpkin races. Guess the weight of the ginormous pumpkin.
The festival is a partnership with the Napa Police Officers Association, Napa Downtown Association, Napa County Bicycle Coalition and the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Community Yard Sale
Parks and Recreation coordinates a City-wide yard sale. Last year over 60 households participated. Just follow the map to find your treasure.
Bike Your Park Day
Discover new parks or experience the Napa Valley Vine Trail in a new way. Parks and Recreation Director John Coates and The Napa Valley Bike Coalition will lead a guided tour along the Vine Trail to Kennedy Park. Learn about some of the unique features of the trail in your backyard. All you have to do is pedal.
Napa Lights the Valley - 4th of July Celebration
The Fourth of July celebration at Oxbow Commons features family entertainment all day and comes to a raucous close with a booming firework show. Sample a variety of cuisine as you stroll down McKinstry Street where a wide selection of food, beer, and, of course, plenty of Napa Valley’s world-famous wine will be featured.
The Kids Zone in Oxbow Commons will be sure to keep the youngsters occupied with free carnival games, inflatables, and family-friendly activities. Sunset.com listed Napa among its six best small town Fourth of July block parties in the country, joining Bend, OR; Big Sky, MT; Seward, AK; Mesa, AZ; and Steamboat Springs, CO.
