Parks and Recreation provides events for the community throughout the year. These events include the annual 4th of July Celebration, Arbor Day, Napa Lighted Art Festival, Napa Día da Los Muertos, and others.

4th of July Celebration

Kids Zone

The Kids Zone is back with inflatables, carnival games, and entertainment. Magic shows at 4:00 and 5:30 in the Kids Zone.

There's something for everyone. Tacos, pizza, hot dogs, salad wraps and enticing offerings to satisfy your sweet tooth. 

Fireworks

As previously announced, the City of Napa has made the challenging decision to discontinue the city-organized July 4th fireworks display. In lieu of a City-sponsored display, Napa Valley Expo—in partnership with BottleRock Presents and Napa Hotels & Inns—has organized a professional fireworks display on July 4. This fireworks show is an independent initiative, separate from the City's events, and is not affiliated with our previous fireworks program. More information can be found HERE

Arbor Day

The City of Napa hosts an annual Arbor Day Celebration to plant new trees for the health and well-being of the Napa Community and to inspire others to celebrate trees and their many benefits.

Napa Lighted Art Festival

The Napa Lighted Art Festival is a celebration of creative arts, technology, lights, and supports innovative techniques using light and light technologies as a growing art medium. 

This walkable outdoor experience is FREE in Downtown Napa. Additional community add on events include the Lantern Parade and Artist Meet & Greets.

Napa Dia de los Muertos

Napa Dia de los Muertos aims to create a family-friendly event where our diverse Napa community feels seen and heard through art, tradition, music, dance, and food; and where the spirit of Dia de los Muertos is driven by cultural awareness, understanding, and acceptance.
