Personnel

The Investigations Bureau is comprised of a Sergeant, six Detectives, a Forensic Specialist and a Crime Analyst.

The Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) is a unit that focuses on on-going community problems, such as gang crimes and quality of life issues. It is comprised of a Sergeant and four Detectives. 

The Youth Services Bureau (YSB) is comprised of a Sergeant, three School Resource Officers (SROs), and one YSB Detective. In addition, the Police Department has a Youth Services Specialist, who is a certified social worker, and a part time Diversion Specialist. The Unit provides School Resource Officers to the NVUSD schools within the City of Napa at the middle school and high school level. The Diversion Unit provides services to first time non-violent juvenile offenders, working in concert with the Juvenile Justice system.
