Call Napa Recycling and Waste Services (NRWS) at (707) 255-5200 before the event. They will help you select the right recycling, composting, and trash containers for your needs, and provide guidelines for successful event recycling. State and County policies require recycling at large events. Plus, recycling will save you money since there is no charge for recycling at large events (south county and north county free services vary)…while there is always a charge for trash collection.
Plan Ahead
- Include recycling from the start of the event planning process
- Always place recycling containers alongside trash containers
- Proper signage on all containers is key
- Work with cleanup staff to monitor containers throughout event
