Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.
Park volunteer opportunities include
- National Public Lands Day/Arbor Day activities
- Trail projects
- Playground installations
- Open space projects
- Eagle Scout projects
- Friends of the Park Program
If you are interested in volunteering to assist with a park clean up, tree planting or as a Park Docent/Guide please complete this FORM.
Friends of the Park Program
The City of Napa Friends of the Park program is designed for members of the Napa community to come together and participate in the upkeep of a park or project where they are most passionate and interested. Friends of the Park members can participate in a variety of capacities, from manual labor to updating social media accounts. In order to help build a strong program, we have identified several key parks & trails that we are looking to establish as Friends of the Park locations, these include:
Parks: Kennedy Park, Westwood Hills Park, Fuller Park & Alston Park
Trails: Napa Vine Trail & Napa River Trail
*Please Note: We are actively recruiting for these parks and trails; however, if you have any interest in another park or trail please contact the volunteer coordinator. We are open to all ideas and all parks!
