Napa is in for quite a bit more wind and rain throughout the evening and into tomorrow. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch and Urban Small Stream Advisory starting today. A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding and a Flood Advisory means that some locations will experience localized flooding. You can view a full list of the National Weather Services' forecasts for the Napa area here.

The City’s sandbag operation is open until further notice at Memorial Stadium, 1340 Menlo Ave. Sandbag Information

The river is not predicted to rise to flood level but there may be issues with local storm drains and streams. Additionally, there will be high winds with the risk of power outages.

Police, Fire, Public Works, and Parks are all staffed up to monitor the storm this afternoon, evening and into tomorrow. Crews will be ready to respond to emergencies related to the expected wind and rain.

As with all storms, we encourage to you be prepared in the event of a power outage or other event due to weather. Check out https://www.ready.gov/ to find out how to be as prepared as possible!
